What to do at Toulouse and around on this first weekend of September 2022. Here is our selection of outings, this Saturday September 3 and Sunday September 4.
#1. See you at the Japan touch
The garden Compans Caffarelli welcomes the 5e edition of the The Japanese touch, the whole weekend. A free, open-air festival that celebrates the Land of the Rising Sun.
On the program: cooking, pop-culture, martial arts, floral art, meditation, calligraphy, etc.

#2. A castle… in a lake
Located 1h30 from Toulouse, the Grandval Castle has the particularity of being immersed in the middle of a lake, Teilletin the Tarn.

#3. A festival south of Toulouse
“We are nice people” is the name of the festival which is being held this Saturday, September 3, 2022, in Aureville, south of Toulouse. On the program: DJ set “world music” with Mr K (aka SeleKta) and MC Barnabas at 7 p.m., the concerts of Addis Black Mamba (ethio-jazz – afrobeat) at 8:30 p.m. and Altess ego (alternative RNB – hip-hop) at 10:30 p.m. and a “world electro” DJ set from midnight.

#4. Good deals in Montauban
A week before Toulouse, Montauban is organizing its big shopping sale this Saturday, September 3.
The opportunity to do good business in the merchants of the city center.
#5. Free museums
Who says first Sunday of the month, says free museums in Toulouse. The permanent collections of the municipal museums are indeed accessible without paying a cent on September 4, 2022.
The museums concerned: Les Abattoirs Museum; Saint Raymond Museum; Toulouse Archeology Museum; Georges Labit Museum; Convent of the Jacobins; Natural History Museum; Gardens of the Museum in Borderouge and Quai des Savoirs.
