11 medals for Bulgaria from the European Sumo Championships in Poland – Sport
A total of 11 medals were won by the national team of Bulgaria for the European Championship in Krotoszyn (Poland). In men’s and women’s sports today, the native athletes with coaches Hristo Hristov and Nikolay Nikolov won 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.
Dobromir Dermendzhiev is again #1 on the old continent in the category up to 92 kg, where Stilian Ivanov is also on the starting ladder with silver. Native dominance with champion and vice-champion was repeated in the 70-kilogram category with Ivan Panovski and Dimitar respectively
Rangelov. European titles were also earned by Pencho Dochev and Ivan Blagoev. With bronze in category up to 115 kg. Mikhail Iliev is leaving Krotoshin.
On the first competition day of Euro`2022, 3 awards were not taken for the juniors and girls – 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
