Toulouse. The drawing is exhibited at the Galerie Bouquières
Right now and until September 17, the ephemeral Gallery Bouquières invites us to discover the works of three designer artists from different worlds. Exhibiting for the first time, Suzanne Gomont, is a very young artist from Angoulême. In love with nature, she succeeds, armed with her pencils and pastels, in capturing all the light and the magic of the landscapes, with an almost photographic precision. Just as young and talented, Inbar Heller Algazi, a Toulouse native of Israeli-German origin, a former student and now a teacher at the École de Condé. If she mainly devotes herself to children’s literature and has signed contracts with 2 major publishing houses, she offers here multiple works, landscapes captured on the spot or characters born from her imagination. Finally, better known and also from Toulouse, Jérôme Souillot, with a work entitled “The Last Night”. A series of drawings made from his dreams of each night that he transcribed from memory for 4 years. In total nearly 700 drawings of which only 84 could be presented. This drawn exhibition is proposed by “Les Multiples” by Olivier Gal, a structure specialized in the edition of images in the form of art prints on archive paper in limited series. Prints which have the particularity of using the “Giclée” printing technique, an inkjet printing on a high definition printer for a rendering extremely close to the original. For 35 € to 100 €, it is possible to acquire, on site or on order, a reproduction of the painted works. Olivier is “happy and proud” to introduce these magnificent creations and awaits you for the opening of the exhibition which will take place on Thursday September 8 at 6.30 p.m. in the presence of the artists.
