Theater: On a set raises its curtain
From September 14 to 18, the 8e Annecy amateur theater festival still promises great discoveries.
” Here in Annecy, people still know that performing arts is a great way to help us live more intensely! Jean-Paul Alègre, contemporary French author of more than fifty plays, is a happy godfather. Because the Annecy festival that he has been incubating since its beginnings, On a plateau, is coming back with a vengeance this year after a lighter 2020 edition.
” The planet is burninghe continues, selfishness is in the front line, intolerance triumphs, and the noise of boots has become a horrible reality! Luckily, there are dates like the one we set On a set, which I’m so proud to sponsor! Justified pride in seeing the program offered from September 14 to 18 by the Artissimo association. During these five days, seven performances and two meetings rock the local scene. And the words of great authors, such as Jean Giono, Agota Kristof, Yasmina Reza, Molière, etc. will take shape through the interpretation of six amateur companies, including one from Savoie (Croq Sésame) and one from Haute-Savoie (la compagnie du Scarabée).
