Football: after Béziers and Montpellier, Selim Errif flourishes in Toulouse
Passed by the ASB a few seasons ago, Selim Errif was recruited this summer by Toulouse FC.
His name and face are well known to Biterrois supporters. For several years, Selim Errif was the eye of AS Béziers. The one whose mission, alongside Mathieu Chabert and his staff, will have been to analyze the performances of Mehdi Mostefa and his partners in National and in Ligue 2, until his departure, in 2019, for the neighbor Montpellier.
Work with young people
An adventure in the heart of the pailladin lung, which will have finally induced him, this summer, to embark on a new challenge, in the heart of a city which has seen him grow and for a challenge which he did not put a long time to accept. “When I joined Toulouse FC, I knew I was going to sign for a very good project. I arrived at a club which is being reborn and which is working very well. The training center has just been French U17 champion and regularly releases quality players, I’m really happy to be here and to be part of this adventure”savors the head of the video cell and statistics within the club promoted this summer in Ligue 1.
“We work around training and pre-training. It’s a totally different mission from the one I had known in Béziers or Montpellier. Even if we have a common game project, the work is done on several teams and so several coaches. Today, we are much less in the search for results, but more on individual and collective development. It is a motivated job, I thrive transformed in this new role. I hope to continue to take lots of fun in the next few months.”
And in particular through the performances and the progress of the Toulouse reserve, which AS Béziers will find this Saturday September 3 (6 p.m.), in Sauclières, for the first reception of the season in National 3. “A nice wink of fate” for Selim Errif, barely a week after a first meeting against Montpellier, whose video analyst was still wearing the colors at the end of last season. Like what chance does things well.
