Andorra FC: Three signings in a frenetic afternoon at the Andorra offices
mel Andorra was one of the most active Smartbank League clubs in the frenetic last day of the transfer market.
The most urgent piece was that of the center forward and in the early afternoon he announced the signing of the Greek Christos Albanisfrom AEK Athens and who last year played in the Cypriot league.
Shortly after, towards mid-afternoon, the contract terminations of Mart Riverola and Roger Riera were made official. It seemed that with these three movements the template would be closed but it was not. On the horn, two more bombardments fell.
One is sinan bakis, another pure battering ram from the Dutch Heracles. Direct competition for Albanis himself and the current owner, Carlos Martnez, endorsed by his 35 goals in 116 games in the last 4 seasons. With experience in the first division of Turkey, Austria and the Netherlands, Bakis is 28 years old and has signed for one season with one more option.
There would still be one last surprise left to give that qualitative push in the offensive plot so necessary for the recently promoted player. Shortly after, the cessation for a season of the end of Sierra Leone is confirmed Mustafa Bundu, coming from Alderlecht. At 25, Bundu has extensive experience in European football. Skilled and fast wing player, last year he scored 3 goals in 22 games, on loan to the Dutch Aarhus.
The three new signings may arrive in time to make their debut on Sunday, in the Andorrans’ historic first home game in the Smartbank League, against Granada
