LABORATORY CARDS OPEN TO EXTERNAL PARTICIPATION
The workshop “Video-Serigraphs of Living” conceived by DCC in collaboration with a collective of Belgian artists composed of Simon Medard, Vincent Evrard and Raphael Parmentier, is proposed as a visual-sound design laboratory to rethink the landscape of Pennabilli. It will end with an installation in the historic center of the town: a large ‘moving fresco’ in which voices, texts, sounds and images of the territory will return a vision of the landscape and a reflection on the poetic and affective sense of living.
The experimental “Self-as-other-trainings” workshop, led by designers Vivien Tauchmann and Michael Kaethler, investigates issues such as climate change and ecology. The intention is to design new stable ways to interact with the world by natural forms of communication, understanding and empathy. Body, touch, movement are the tools to design new relationships, sound creative communication connections and promote empathic interactions of thinking and living with nature.
The workshop “Connecting communities: design for the enhancement of cultural heritage”, in partnership with the Italian community of Museomix, investigates the themes of territorial activation to improve the use of cultural heritage in an adequate and identifying way thanks to activities and tools of co – drawing.
