Bigflo and Oli and their friends sold out for their first Rose Festival
It hasn’t started yet, but it’s already a success. The Rose Festival, imagined 4 years ago by the Toulouse duo Bigflo and Oliv will be sold out. A first edition to be held at the MEETT on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September, with a very enticing programme.
The Interceltic Festival of Lorient 2022
J minus one for the first edition of the Rose Festival, imagined by the two Toulouse rappers Bigflo and Oli. The event takes place this Friday and Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the MEETT. Two evenings of sold-out concerts.
It is a festival that the two Toulouse brothers had dreamed of organizing for several years. After touring the world of musical stages, Bigflo and Oli showed up at home with their brand new baby: the Rose Festival.
Postponed last year due to Covid-19, the musical event will take place this year. It is moving to the MEETT, the brand new Toulouse exhibition center, on September 2 and 3, 2022.
“The idea of this project is to highlight the city, and to create an event with a hip-hop identity, recently confided Samuel Capus, associate director of Bleu Citron Productions. It doesn’t happen a lot. The last to have done so was the Zebda group. We will try to take up the torch.”
The two brothers have put their hands together to concoct a program in the image of their desire and current music.
We will find on stage some rap heavyweights like I Am or Ziak and much more pop and electro artists like L’impératrice, Deluxe or Bon Entendeur, who have made their mark in recent years.
Not to mention the local scene with Mouss and Hakim, the former Zebdas, who are now pursuing a solo career after the band split up.
And of course every evening, a performance by Bigflo and Oli. With probably many surprises for festival-goers.
Even before it started, the Rose Festival is already a success. For this first edition, the organizers hoped to gather some 15,000 spectators per evening. Their wishes were granted. And way beyond.
The festival will be sold out. The two evenings are complete with 25,000 tickets sold each. At 46 euros per evening and 72 euros for the two days, places sold out like hotcakes.
After 11 years of career and 4 albums, Bigflo and Oli have already left their mark on the city of Toulouse. We remember the fervor around the two dates organized in 2019 at the Stadium as well as those of the Zénith de Toulouse in February 2020.
Lhe two rappers from Toulouse are back “home”, as they like to say, for a new challenge. But they have already won their bet.
