520,337 students
The Toulouse academy has 520,337 students for this new school year. This is 2,497 students less than in 2021. They are divided between 268,330 students in the first degree and 252,007 students in the second degree.
830 trainee teachers
The students will be surrounded by 830 trainee teachers in the academy. These teachers are winners of public competitions. In addition, the academy has this year 1190 civic service contracts.
5 new colleges
This new school year is marked by the opening of five new colleges in Haute-Garonne to respond to demographic growth: two in Toulouse (Saint-Simon and Guilhermy) and three in the department in Seysses, Cintegabele and Bauzelle.
3200 apprentices
In five years, in the academy of Toulouse, the number of apprentices increased from 600 to 3200. Numbers in constant increase. One hundred high schools in the academy offer apprenticeship. 480 Ulis classes
Ulis classes are “localized school inclusion units”. These special classes welcome students with disabilities. The academy has 480 Ulis classes for this new school year: six additional classes in the first degree, ten classes in the second degree. They will accommodate more than 24,000 students, or 4% of the students.
