Toulouse: overview of open or closed swimming pools for this new school year
Works, extension of hours, closure… Overview of the swimming pools open in Toulouse for this start of the 2022-2023 school year.
The end of the summer period and the return to school means a change in access to swimming pools in Toulouse. We take stock of the open or closed pools.
The Alban Minville swimming pool in the Bellefontaine district reopens on September 5. It is open from Monday to Sunday. On weekdays, it is possible to swim there until 7 p.m.
Due to a technical problem, the paddling pool of the Axel Jany swimming pool is currently closed to the public. Disruptions regarding the opening of the swimming pool and paid lessons are also to be expected until September 30.
With the end of summer, Nakache summer pool party closes its doors, it is normally the winter area which then takes over.
But as the town hall of Toulouse announced last week, the winter Nakache swimming pool will not open in September as planned due to a technical problem in the small pool. In order to limit the consequences for users, the municipality has decided to keep the Chapou swimming pool open until September 25 daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Northern Bellevue is open until September 18 from Monday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Castex basin is now open on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Jean Boiteux swimming pool switches to school period mode and is open Monday to Saturday until 7 p.m., Sunday until 3 p.m.
Leo Lagrange swimming pool which closes during the summer period reopens its doors on September 12th. The pools will be accessible until 9 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday and until 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, it is possible to stay there until 3 p.m.
Starting August 29, the Papus swimming pool is open every day, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until 7 p.m., Tuesday until 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m.
The large basin of Toulouse Lautrec goes into back-to-school mode. The swimming pool is open Monday to Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Friday the pool is open from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Finally, on Saturday, the swimming pool is accessible from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Pech David swimming pool is the subject of work as part of the swimming pools plan launched by the town hall of Toulouse. Access will therefore not be possible this year. The reopening is scheduled for September 2023.
