These are the highlights at the VeggieWorld fair in the Netherlands
The next VeggieWorld fair will take place in the Netherlands on 3 and 4 September 2022. On the site of the Expo Houten near Utrecht, the organizers of Messe Dortmund show how colourful, versatile, tasty and simple an earthly way of life is.
Exhibitors in every area of the vegan market
From alternatives to meat to confectionery, from vegan cheese to NGOs and other initiators. More 75 exhibitions present products, tips and information about the vegan visitors expected at the fair. The offer is rounded off by an extensive program of lectures and cooking shows.
Vegan cheese substitutes from all over Europe
A good cheese substitute has the potential to inspire even more people to eat plant-based foods. Numerous institutions share their knowledge about animal rights and give tips about living as a vegan. “We are especially pleased to be able to facilitate this important exchange of information through VeggieWorld.” said the VeggieWorld organizer Hendrik Schellkens who is pleased with the large number of NGOs and associations. On the Veggie-Stage, the organizers present a colorful mix of entertainment and information. On Saturday afternoon, Tobias Leenaert will speak about the four most important activities for a future world. The presentations are replaced by fun live cooking shows: Martine van Haperen demonstrates the vegan basics, Traienne Pasteuning-Watson from Trai Vegan presents parts of her famous cooking workshops and Solvejg Klein takes visitors to her amber room and makes fantastic chocolates live on stage. . On Saturday afternoon, VeggieWorld-Partner NVV will broadcast the Vegan Awards live on the Veggie-Stage.
NVV as a strong partner
The organizers were able to bring a strong partner on board with the Dutch Vegan Association. The Dutch Association for Veganism (NVV) is the only Dutch membership organization for veganism and the knowledge center in the Netherlands in the field of veganism.
