Toulouse: Chef Stéphane Tournié launches a new edition of his culinary competition
Chef Stéphane Tournié, from the Michelin-starred restaurant Les Jardins de l’Opéra in Toulouse, will launch a second edition of his culinary competition on September 12. Explanations
After a 1st edition in 2021, the #MaRecetteChezTournié culinary competition returns in 2022, and goes to the national format! Cooking enthusiasts from all over France can therefore try their luck on Instagram, and see THEIR recipe inserted on the menu of chef Stéphane Tournié’s starred restaurant: Les Jardins de l’Opéra, in Toulouse.
PARTICIPANT COMMENT?
This contest will start on Instagram on September 12th. When the competition is announced, candidates will have 3 weeks to participate. All you have to do is post a photo of your dish by identifying the chef’s account and using #MaRecetteChezTournié. The reveal of the Top 10 will take place on October 4.
A week later, the Top 3 will be unveiled on October 11. The finalists will have the chance to present their dish during a grand finale, organized in the chef’s restaurant.
Stéphane Tournié, will accompany and guide the candidates in the kitchen. The jury team, specially formed for the occasion, will decide between the different creations.
Key dates:
September 12 to October 3: competition opens
October 4: announcement of the top 10 selected by the chef
October 11: announcement of the 3 finalists by Stéphane Tournié. Travel by train + paid accommodation to Toulouse for the grand finale!
October 17: Grand finale at the Jardins de l’Opéra. In the kitchen, the finalists will be helped by chef Stéphane Tournié to improve their recipe. Then they will present their dish to a jury made up of Alban Forlot, Elodie Pages, Sophie Franco, Louandcompany, Rodnroll and Mamscook. Who will determine the winner. The winner’s dish will be on the restaurant menu for 1 week.
