Berlin (dpa / bb) – In view of the energy crisis, the Berlin economy will make a measurable contribution to savings. In an agreement signed with the Senate on Monday, several business associations committed to saving at least ten percent in energy.
The goal is to be achieved, among other things, by restricting room temperature, air conditioning and lighting. In addition, the associations are planning to expand the advisory services for companies on the topics of energy saving and energy efficiency.
Both the Governing Mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD) and representatives of the associations involved speak of a considerable signal. Two weeks ago, the Senate launched a program to save energy in the administration and in the country’s properties. This should also save at least ten percent of energy.
