Pirotecnia Valenciana wins the jury prize at the Bilbao international fireworks competition

The company Pyrotechnics Valenciana, Llanera of Ranes (Valencia), It has been the winner of the jury prize at the Villa de Bilbao International Fireworks Competition that is held every year during the Aste Nagusia festivities.
As reported by the Bilbao City Council, the winner of the show at this XXXIV Villa de Bilbao International Fireworks Competition, unanimously by the jury, was in charge of lighting up the sky over the town on Friday night, the big day of the parties
The Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, accompanied by the Councilor for Festivities, Itziar Urtasun, will present the trophy to the winner this Sunday at La Bilbaina.
Every night, the members of the jury have met and valued different outstanding aspects in these shows, such as the occupation of air space; the purity, intensity, brilliance and duration of the colors; the chromatic variety, luminosity, dimensions, design and perfection of forms; elegance, diversity of effects, sonority, conjunction with the environment, originality and rhythm; as well as the reception by the public, they have explained from the Consistory.
On this occasion, the jury has highlighted the show by the Valencian company for “its rhythm, design, occupation of space, originality of the pieces, sound effects and variation of ensembles”. Pyrotechnics Valencia has been imposed on the other six competing companies in the contest, from Italy, France, A Coruña, Granada, Valencia and Zaragoza.
In addition to this award, the event has two other awards. The Audience Award will be announced in September and, as a novelty, the Green Award for the pyrotechnics that pollutes the least with waste from the show, which will be announced in October, once the pyrotechnic waste of each company has been analyzed.
The City Council has highlighted that, “one more year, the fireworks have established themselves, every night, as one of the most massive shows in Aste Nagusia”.
