train traffic disrupted at Gare de Lyon on Friday, due to a personal accident
Some trains were held up at the station and eventually left Gare de Lyon more than an hour late.
Traffic is disrupted this Friday evening at the Gare de Lyon. Many travelers have seen their train held up after a personal accident.
“An individual is on the tracks, as a safety measure, we have cut the power” could hear passengers on board a train heading for Annecy.
“A person would have climbed to the level of an electric pole and would be inanimate”, indicates Line R on its Twitter account.
On this Transilien line, traffic is severely disrupted between Gare de Lyon and Melun on Friday evening, after being completely interrupted for about twenty minutes. Traffic remained “severely slowed down” between Gare de Lyon and Montargis, in both directions of traffic, until the end of the service.
Trains departing from Gare de Lyon have long been held at the platform, and traffic has gradually resumed since 8:45 p.m. Trains were, however, impacted by major delays throughout the evening, with some fast over an hour late.
