Rose Festival in Toulouse: bet won for Bigflo & Oli, it’s sold out on Saturday and soon on Friday!
The Rose Festival announces the evening of Saturday September 3 sold out and the same prospects for the evening of Friday. For latecomers it is urgent to book…
Last week Samuel Capus, associate director of Bleu Citron productions, launched a “It’s amazing! » enthusiastic when asked the question of the tenor of the reservations of the public to attend the first edition of the Rose Festival in partnership with The Noon Dispatch. This Friday evening, he is on the register: “It’s madness! Saturday is sold out with 25,000 reservations! The Friday evening will also fill up very quickly and, given the enthusiasm, we have been forced to set up waiting files on the ticketing site”.
Even if the groundswell was positive, the final straight line confirms the current trend: the public reserved as close as possible to the event, ie here a week before since the festival will take place next Friday and Saturday. For Samuel Capus, the bet is on the way to being won: “Our objective was to reach 15,000 spectators per evening, which would already have been a feat given the context and the disappointments at certain festivals. And we get to 25,000 per night so we’re very happy. “It must be said that the post-pandemic recovery is proving complicated even for established festivals in France, between rising costs, artist fees, poor ticket sales, heightened competition and shortage of staff. But will the Rose Festival model be an exception to the rule?
“Crazy stuff! »
After the success of the two dates organized in 2019 at the Stadium as well as those of the Zénith de Toulouse in February 2020 for Bigflo and Oli without forgetting June 24 at the Arena La Défense in Paris after the March dates for Genesis in the same place , the organizational know-how of Bleu Citron productions no longer needs to be passed on. And the ongoing success proves it cheerfully: “Everything is falling into place as we wanted to continue Samuel Capus, it’s a crazy thing to prepare but the assembly began this Friday on the site, it’s a construction site phew which will occupy 1,200 people for the coming days to install the two stages as well as all the equipment necessary to best accommodate the artists and the public. For the latter, the trams and buses departing from the Arènes station will operate until 2:30 a.m. on both evenings, a VTC parking lot and a taxi parking lot will be activated and the MEETT – Parc des expositions de Toulouse car park should absorb 4,000 vehicles. However, we couldn’t recommend the use of public transport enough to make the party complete!
