Fien Germijns trades ‘Switch’ again for the morning at Studio Brussel
After nine weeks and 45 episodes, the first summer as the new presenter of ‘Switch’ is over for Fien Germijns (27) on Friday evening. For now, no new TV plans are on the agenda, so she returns to the nest at Studio Brussel.
At Stubru, Germijns again takes care of the morning show, together with Equal Idiots frontman Thibault Christiaensen. Before the summer, during the shooting of SwitchGermijns was replaced there for a few weeks by veteran Linde Merckpoel.

This autumn, Stubru’s morning block will never be made exclusively from the studio on Reyerslaan. “Fien will also perform football for Studio Brussel”, it sounds at VRT. The tournament, which starts on November 20 in Qatar, will be played in the winter for the first time. That is why the public broadcaster is setting up a ‘base camp’ at the Winter Circus in Ghent, for its radio, TV and online offerings. In addition to Sporza, Fien Germijns will also move in there, and will present her morning block from Ghent. Accompany her there: colleagues from MNM, who organize a street football tournament for young people, and Niels Destadsbader, who together with musician Miguel Wiels organize the program FC Niels and Wiels will make for Radio 2.
