As part of the work undertaken to improve readability and visibility at the exit of the Borne Romaine tunnel on the A8 motorway, the Monaco interchanges (exit 56) in both directions of traffic will be closed during nights, between August 23 and October 11 2022, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
21 unmarked nights
The works will be exclusively carried out at night, excluding weekends and public holidays, so as not to generalize the very intense traffic on this section of motorway, which is both very touristic in this season, but also heavily used by workers heading for the Principality of Monaco.
Monthly August, the outlet will be closed from August 23 to 25 inclusive, as well as the nights of August 30 and 31. In the month of september, the interchange will be inaccessible the night of September 1, the nights of September 7 and 8, from September 12 to 15 inclusive, from September 19 to 22 inclusive, and finally the nights of September 26 and 27. Finally, for the month of octoberthe nights of October 4 to 6 inclusive and October 10 will be unmarked.
Diversion to La Turbie
Drivers wishing to leave the A8 at exit 56, towards Monaco, must take the exit La Turbie (No. 57) and follow the diversion set up on the secondary network.
In both directions of traffic, near the work area, a safety zone will be set up, with a speed limit of 70km/hand circulation only possible on the lane most to the left.
