It is one of those “small festivals” that would benefit from being better known. Canceled in 2020, the woodland party is back to Grazacclose to Toulouse. For the occasion, the association BLESSED PAIN has pulled out all the stops to offer a memorable 5th edition around a theme that should appeal to nostalgic : them video arcade games. See you on August 27 and 28 for the edition ” Arcade Rave “.
Mario, Pacman…
To respond well to the theme chosen this year, the organization has decided to honor two behemoths in the history of video games: Mario and Pac-Man as well as several references scattered throughout the four rooms of the festival.
“We even called on a service provider who will bring back several arcade terminals,” rejoices Alexandre Zanatta, member of the organization.
“A real town”
For this new edition, the organization of the festival expects more than 1,500 people to bring this “little village” to life for 23 hours to the rhythm of electro music. Scenographic room, light show, relaxation area, outlandish activities… Festival-goers shouldn’t be bored during the weekend. More than 15 artists including locals and 4 internationals will also be part of the party (Marco Farrone, Fleur Shore, Ben Candel, Triptyque…)
Start of hostilities on Saturday, from 3 p.m. until 5 a.m., then again on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
An accessible festival
With a view to always improving, the Woodland Festival wants to be eco-responsible and offers accessibility for people with disabilities throughout the site. The campsite will be free as well as the buses from Auterive station.
