Street Food Tour, “a trip around Portugal with food on wheels” that lasts until November – Atualidade
“We wanted to escape the big cities and take a caravan of food trucks to territories less favored by street food events. In the long caravan, which is also a community of food truckers, we take food from the world, often from far away, with the best known flavors and aromas we want to make known to the country on our route. We could not forget the local restoration, which has had so many difficulties over the last two years”. The presentation of the first edition of the Street food tour it is made to us by women, Fátima Moura and Teresa Santos, who brought together two as their respective strengths to launch the initiative that, since last June, has been spread across the country.
“What we propose is a weekend, from Friday to Sunday, of fun for the whole family and with free admission. To begin with, there is no shortage of good food, the one that you cling to your hands, feeling the proximity of its heat and its textures, which comes without imonia, with textures, standing, sitting or without textures”.
To entertain the pleasure of food, there is no lack of street entertainment on this tour, with a DJ in addition, or street artists. Joining them, other local artists are present and liven up the party. “We always have a series of activities from the territories or quieter vehicles to boat trips, lessons for the youngest or more advanced vehicles for special activities”, such as the quietest vehicles to boat trips, lessons for the younger ones or more advanced vehicles. advanced special activities”, such as the promoters of the Street Food Tour.
Some of these events are integrated into other larger parties. “In Tomar, we are going to be part of the Street Arts Festival. To end the Tour de, with the Balloon Festival, in Ponte Sor”.
