Cleaning Netherlands holds Reconditioning meeting
During the meeting, the participants are discussed about the developments in this segment and there is plenty of room to talk to colleagues. In any case, the following topics are on the agenda.
-
Notifications from the platform board reconditioning.
-
Emergency plan Reconditioning the Netherlands
The Salvage Foundation carries out disaster coordination in the event of incidents. In the context of crisis coordination, reconditioners also have a role through the Calamity Plan Reconditioning Netherlands (CPN). The platform board is involved in the development and has collected input about, among other things, guaranteed capacity and the deployment of a managerial coordinator from the reconditioners. Work is now underway on the framework, the rules of the game and the activation criteria. The aim is to have the CPN ready by the end of this year.
- Sustainable damage repair in the chain
Permanently repair damage. Not only the reconditioning companies want this, the Dutch Association of Insurers and the individual insurers also think it is important. The sector board of the Association has recently decided that sustainable damage repair will be given priority. That is good news.
The Dutch Association of Progress and Schoonmakend are in talks to lay the foundation for a working group that will work on a chain-wide approach for sustainable damage repair. The focus is on other unnecessary equipment, business kilometers and circular damage repair. Reconditioners, non-life insurers and possibly experts will work together in the working group.
