On Friday, August 12, the roundabout in Skawina was made available for traffic along with the progress. It replaced the intersection of the national road No. 44 with Krakowska streets in Skawina and Skotnicka streets in Krakow, and the Skawina ring road. The investment cost of the investment exceeds PLN 9 million.

As part of the investment, the intersection of the Skawina bypass with Krakowska and Skotnicka Streets was rebuilt into a turbine roundabout and the commune road no. 603511K (Wapowskiego Street). Built construction of the commune, routes for roads and road-bike, individual exits, bus bays and bus stations. Networks: gas, telecommunication, electricity, water supply and rainwater sewage system have been expanded and built. A canal and street lighting were also built. After the roundabout is available, there will be more traffic for new cleaning and decommissioning of the construction starter. It will not affect traffic.

Intersection on DK44 to a very busy point on the border of two cities: Krakow and Skawina. According to the traffic assessment under the General Traffic Measurement 2020/2021 Average daily 35,981 vehicles moved in this place. During rush hour, electronic vehicle registration made it possible to avoid traffic blocking and congestion. The new roundabout makes it easier to merge with traffic from directions.
