Covid, for the first time in months at the Gaslini in Genoa no one has been covered
The number of covid hospitalized patients in Liguria continues to decline, demonstrating that the virus has loosened its grip. Pediatric patients benefit from it: for the first time in months at the Gaslini hospital there are no small patients hospitalized. 361 people are hospitalized (7 in intensive care), five fewer. A month ago there were 374 (11 in intensive). There were three deaths, but one dates back to June 3 (Sarzana hospital). They were between 86 and 98 years old. There have been 5492 deaths linked to covid since the beginning of the pandemic: in a month there were 118 more. The new infected, for the third consecutive day, are less than a thousand, 849 (yesterday there were 824 out of 5667 swabs and Thursday 943 out of 6078 swabs) compared to 6510 swabs (960 molecular and 5550 antigen tests). The positivity rate is 13.04%: yesterday with fewer tampons it was 14.5%. On 13 July there were 2562 new cases. The new positives in the last 24 hours are 302 in the Genoese area, 159 in the Spezzino, 157 in the Savona area, 137 in the Imperese area, 92 in the Tigullio, 2 are not resident in the region. The positives fall below 15 thousand: they are 14401, 625 less than yesterday. A month ago there were 25170. There are 12357 people in home isolation, 404 fewer. On July 13, they were 22,351. 378 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours. So far the fourth doses have been 72,463: 40,483 for the over 80s, 19,095 in the range between 70 and 79, 11,440 in the range between 60 and 69 and 1,445 among the under 50. Also for the fourth doses, reservations amount to 23,164.
