SKP election campaign in full swing
According to Point of referenceSKP’s official newspaper, the party’s members and friends in various cities, such as Uppsala, Sveg and Burlov, distribute leaflets and talk to the people in workers’ quarters and workplaces.
It is quite possible that SKP’s ballots are not available in some polling stations. In such a case, the voter can only write SKP on a blank ballot.
It is recalled that earlier this year the Communist Party was denied the right to use its full name – Sweden’s Communist Party – in the election, because the name was similar to another party’s registered designation. Therefore, the Communist Party runs under its initials, SKP.
Unlike the bourgeois parties, the Communist Party (SKP) does not have the financial resources to mount a major election campaign but relies on contributions from members and supporters. As Riktpunkt points out, every small or large contribution is very significant for the party. For further information on how you can support the party’s struggle, send an email to [email protected].
The Swedish election will be held on September 11, 2022.
