27 kilometers long, the 3e metro line from Toulouse, to link to Colomiers a Labege, Going through Blagnac and its major aeronautical hubs, major job providers in the Metropolis. What you need to know about the resort of Blagnac Jean-Maga
From the Colomiers terminus, Jean-Maga will be the 4e 3 statione metro line, the only one located in the territory of Blagnac. And it is of particular importance to Tisséo. According to his estimates, 10,000 trips checked be validated every day at this station, one of the busiest on the line. It will be located six minutes from Colomiers, 13 minutes from Matabiau station and 6 minutes from La Vache station. By tram, Purpan will be accessible in 6 minutes.
“Major interchange hub” of the metropolitan transport network, Jean-Maga will also be “one of the most fundamental stations in the system”, defends Jean-Michel Lattes, the president of Tisséo: “It is indeed here that we are going achieve the big bang of the Toulouse tramway”.
In addition to serving the surrounding residential areas to the south of Blagnac and Toulouse, this station underground and “hyperconnected” will offer a direct connection with the line of T1 tram (with the creation of a tram stop nearby) and the future Airport Express line. This new express tram, which replaces the T2 line and for which work is in progress this summer, will now connect the airport, explain the purchase of a separate ticket.

Circulations pedestrians and cycle paths be developed around this station. According to community plans, ” lifts will ensure the transfer of users” from the metro platform to that of the Airport Express Line and the T1 tramway station. “This connection will be shorter than the existing one between line A and line B of the Jean-Jaurès station”, defends Tisséo.
If in the future there will be three stations in one at Jean-Maga, the transport authority of the agglomeration is also considering “the creation of a terminus for two or three bus lines serving the west of Toulouse, in line with the reorganization of the network which accompanied the commissioning of the 3e underground line “.
