autific. The Franco-Slavic choir of Toulouse welcomes 37 Ukrainian children and teenagers
Toulouse, twin city of kyiv, in partnership with the Yaroslavna association currently welcomes within its walls a group of Ukrainian children and teenagers, 17 of whom come from the Donbass region. Mrs. Grygorenko, French teacher in Ukraine, initiator of this trip is responsible for it, as well as the 5 guides. The Franco-slave choir of Toulouse has therefore offered to welcome this “little world” all day in Auterive with a visit to the Museum of Old Tools. Ms. Valérie Denjean, manager of the shoe store “Le Progrès” in Auterive, generously and spontaneously offered to put on free shoes for each of the children and their companions.
Three orphans…
3 of these children are orphans, which is to say that this welcome is of capital importance for them, and for the others as well, on a human, emotional and material level.
The Franco-Slavic choir thanks the Town Hall of Auterive for making the Belvedere room available where a meal will be taken together at noon, the museum staff for their welcome offer, as well as all the generous donors, and wish everyone a very nice day. When returning to Ukraine from this bus trip, the CFST will give out gifts for the children: clothes, toys, games, which they miss so much. Mrs. Nicole Savaric and Maithé Bordet, respectively president and treasurer of the CFST are the active and voluntary interface ensuring the success of the operation, on the French and Toulouse side.
