Skills, talent and a dose of luck are sometimes enough to make your wildest dreams come true. It is they, as well as the lack of prejudices regarding origin, religion or beliefs, that help our compatriot Zarya Vrabcheva to start working in a renowned London design studio engaged in significant projects in the field of show business.
“The ability to work in a team with many and different groups of people is very important in my job. The projects the studio works on bring me together with directors, producers, lighting designers. That is why it is very important to adapt quickly and to strive for the work process to develop smoothly,” Zarya Vrabcheva shared in an interview with Radio Bulgaria. “You have to be ready to accept and take into account another point of view, as well as not to impose only your idea of the thing.”
She admits that before starting this job, she watched show business with admiration only from the sidelines, and today she is part of the teams that have made some of the most impressive events on the cultural and music scene around the world. Among them is the tour of the legendary rock group Queen, creating a special hall for a series of multimedia performances of ABBA’s favorite generations around the world, as well as the concert in front of Buckingham Palace on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the enthronement of Queen Elizabeth II.
“Last August, we were contacted by the BBC, who were the producers of the event and together with two or three competing studios participating in the competition – recalls the Bulgarian about the event, which attracted millions of viewers from all over the world to the English capital in June. – Next In addition to musicians, actors, people from the sports world performed on stage, there was also a successful mix of musical musicians. In addition, the selection of performers was exceptional – Alicia Keys, Elton John, the band “Duran Duran” and many others.”
As for the musical comeback of the Swedish quartet, the compatriot does not admit:
“When we started working on this project, I witnessed things that I had only heard about. We were on the edge the whole time as to how something like this would be received by the publication. The core of the whole show is the film , created by George Lucas’s effects company. All the movements and brutality of the members of ABBA were recreated as holograms. Our task was to create the space that would become a home for their avatars.”
Regardless of what she is working on, Zarya never for a moment forgets her roots and home in Bulgaria. She tells about our country to anyone who asks her where she comes from.
“I always present the best of our country, and there is a lot of it – both the richness of nature, which is shown in photos, and our unique culture and history. voices” of the whole team and everyone was delighted by the unearthly beauty of this music. For many years I have also been involved in folk dances, and I have recordings of concerts, I played them to many foreigners. I even showed them some steps.”
You will hardly be surprised if you find out that after such communication with people from all over the world, Zarya wants to realize her next creative idea right here.
“So far, in everything I’ve done, I’ve always asked myself if the experience I’ve had so far, I can apply it to something bigger and more important to me. That is why the possibility of working in Bulgaria has always been in my thoughts. it is pleasant when I come back here to see the changes that have taken place in the cultural life of our country. I have an idea for a new type of performance, which I have had the opportunity to experience recently, but I would not like to give details yet” – the talented Zarya does not fully reveal her dreams.
