“I’m not happy with this sale”
Gabriele Cioffi did not avoid controversy, on the sidelines of the friendly played over the weekend by his new Hellas Verona against Cremonese, defeated in a pyrotechnic 4-3.
The former Udinese coach expressed himself like this on the Gialloblù market: “I’m not happy that Caprari left: it was a bolt from the blue, which changed my plans. We are talking about an almost irreplaceable player, there are few like him around Europe ”.
A direct message to the club and in particular to the Sports Director Marroccu, who in recent weeks had thus argued with Caprari himself following his sale to Monza: “In a negotiation there are those who buy, those who sell and those who decide to be sold or I do not. Caprari was part of the negotiation, but he left us with a cryptic post: I invite him if necessary to give the names and surnames of those who have betrayed the promises, as he wrote. If I was responsible for this, I will be able to respond properly. I come from a school in which to make the market you have to protect and enhance your product: I arrived I declared that for me they were all non-transferable, because I had the impression of having arrived in a club that could be looted in a moment to the other. I wanted to try to give value and strong positions to all my players. If my words have been interpreted as a mockery and a lack of respect towards the fans, I will treasure this so as not to repeat the mistake.
The climate is therefore not very relaxed at Hellas, with the company still called to intervene on the market. With the attack complete and close to saying goodbye to Cholito Simeone too, we will try to strengthen the midline with at least one graft. In defense, however, after the thinning of the redundancies, there could be two new entries in the yellow and blue.
