In order to accommodate the influx of tens of thousands of concert-goers, the offer on the metro lines will be strengthened.
Metro line 6 runs to the King Baudouin Stadium as standard, but on the same route, metro line 2 will be extended especially for the King Baudouin Stadium from 5 pm to 0:30 am. For example, a metro will run on the two lines every five minutes until 0:30 am. Metro lines 1 and 5 will also be reinforced towards the city center between 11pm and the end of service, with a metro every ten minutes. If necessary, additional trams and metros are available for use.
Travelers can already get into the mood at the STIB stations. On concert days, a playlist of the latest Coldplay songs will be played between 4 and 8 p.m. Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, even left a special message for fans who use public transport.
