Traffic will be complicated on the roads around Toulouse on the occasion of the crossover weekend between the departures and returns from vacation of the July and August residents.
The crossover weekend between the departures and returns from holidays of the July and August residents is traditionally complicated on the roads. And the 2022 edition will be no exception. This Friday, July 29 is classified red by Bison futé in the direction of departures and orange in the direction of returns, except in the South-East quarter which is red.

In the direction of departures, traffic will be heavy on the A62 between Agen and Toulouse between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It will also be on the A61 between Toulouse and Narbonne from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ditto on the A750 between Lodève and Montpellier from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Traffic will also be heavy on the A9 between Montpellier and Narbonne between 9 a.m. and noon.
In the return direction, traffic will be heavy on the A61 between Toulouse and Bordeaux from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will even be saturated between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
No improvement in traffic around Toulouse for Sunday
The situation will not be better on Sunday July 31. In the direction of departures, traffic will be heavy between Orange and Narbonne between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. It will be downright saturated from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will also be dense on the A62 between Agen and Toulouse from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ditto on the A61 from Toulouse to Narbonne between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. On this section, traffic will be saturated from noon to 3 p.m.
In the direction of returns, it is advisable to avoid the A9 between Orange and Narbonne from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. when traffic will be dense, and even saturated from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Same observation on the A62 between Toulouse and Agen. Traffic will be heavy between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and saturated from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Finally, on the A61 between Narbonne and Carcassonne, traffic will be heavy between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and saturated from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
It will be necessary to wait until Monday August 1 to perceive an improvement in traffic conditions on the roads around Toulouse and in Occitanie.
