Under the motto “Challenges”, entrepreneur Gabi Spiegelfeld and the Federation of Austrian Industry called Austria’s top management to the summer business meeting in Salzburg.
While the Salzburg Festival had just opened, visions and paths for the future of the domestic and European business location are now being discussed in the city of Mozart. Over 200 CEOs and international experts will deal with the most burning questions in Europe at the Salzburg Summit 2022, which will last until July 30th.
Location Europe facing enormous challenges
The conference motto “Challenges” addresses the current situation, because Europe as a location is facing enormous challenges. The major “challenges” of our time are addressed in four central thematic blocks: climate & energy, innovation, geopolitics and society. Of course, former chancellor Sebastian Kurz, global strategist at Thiel Capital, was among the top decision-makers. He was interviewed at the Salzburg Summit on Thursday, where he ruled out a return to politics.
How comfortable Austria’s top management feels in Salzburg is shown by the fact that after the welcome dinner in the Hotel Sacher, you could celebrate with Sebastian Kurz in the old town until 4:00 am.
