E. Zacharevskij, who makes patients beautiful in an innovative way: Lithuania is a favorable country for plastic surgery Life
“Working with stem cells, from adipose augmentation (autologous) on a straight path back to their future.
After suctioning excess fat from problem areas of the body and treating them, we also give a chance to the youth of the facial skin.
In the course of the same operation, even several problems are quite possible, which is especially relevant even during the summer – says Dr. Dr. E. Zacharevskij.
– Why is it more effective today to smooth out wrinkles with patients’ fat grafting than with hyaluron?
– Fat transplantation allows you to restore the volume of the face lost due to age or disease, the skin is no longer visible, its quality is improved due to the stem cells present in the adipose tissue.
Well, and a practical point, fat transplants on the face last longer than tissue fillers, so you have to repeat them much less often.
However, it is not a foreign body in the patient’s body, which means it is not rejected, unlike tissue fillers.
This is especially important for people allergic to collagen or other artificially derived products.
Years of research, accumulated experience and visible visible results allow us to describe this procedure as one of the most advanced and natural aesthetic medical tools to create youthfulness.

– When does adipose tissue increase in our body?
– Adipose tissue in certain parts of the body increases with aging, and soft tissue atrophic processes also begin.
has noticed that similarly, for many in their forties, the desired body size becomes difficult.
Of course, an increased fat layer can also accumulate due to genetic reasons, hormonal changes or gaining unwanted kilos.
– How long does liposuction take? do you expect
– Liposuction is considered a quick operation and usually takes about 1-2 hours, usually under general anesthesia.
The incision is just 4-5 mm long, and a narrow tube called a cannula is inserted under the skin to suction out the accumulated unwanted fat.
During the procedure, fat must be removed from parts of the body: back, buttocks, thighs, abdomen, upper arms, chin, etc.
It is one of the most effective for a variety of desired body lines and body contours.
Of course, the duration and complexity of the liposuction operation may vary, and more useful procedures are additionally performed.
For example, transferring the suctioned fat to other parts of the body in order to give it the desired shape.
In this way, it is possible to shape the body lines without implants – simply transfer the suctioned fat to those parts of the body that are missing.
About the miracle of adipose tissue – From closer
– Why do plastic surgeons usually treat fat grafting?
– Fat grafting (liposculpture) is a procedure that is designed to correct body lines or increase some body parts.
In this case, it is important to distinguish between aesthetics and reconstruction. But in both cases, the adipose tissue intended for transplantation is taken from the patient’s own subcutaneous tissue.
Thus, liposuction and transplantation are performed in the same operation: fatty tissue is removed from where it is too much (abdominal area, buttocks, inner surfaces of thighs and knees) and transplanted where correction is needed (breasts, buttocks, face).
– Tell us about the progress of this operation. How does everything look?
– If fat cells are needed for transplantation, the fat will be suctioned by safe incision using machine techniques or manually.
In this way, fatty substances are less injured, remain more viable and heal more easily. Next comes the preparation of cells for transplantation: they are washed, separated from tissue fluid.
The prepared tissue is injected into the required places, spreading and evenly distributing the cells in the patient’s subcutaneous tissue.
The more evenly they are distributed, the more they gain. As an example, we can mention that 50 to 200 ml of adipose tissue is injected into the breast, 200-800 ml into the buttocks, and 10-30 ml into the facial folds.
Of course, the larger the amount of fat grafted, the less likely it is to heal completely due to tissue swelling caused by excess pressure.
The big changes: what to expect after opting for liposuction and liposuction?
– Can everyone who wants to beautify the body lines, and at the same time improve the processing of the skin by fat grafting into the skin? Are there any restrictions?
– The main condition for fat transplantation is that the person must be healthy. Like the area of the skin where the fat will be taken from and where it will be injected.
– Often, before opening the door of a plastic and reconstructive surgery doctor, he considers what will happen with that pain threshold? How much time usually the operation lasts and is she very nice?
– Normal liposuction can last up to 1 hour, but at the same time it is recommended to perform additional procedures (such as removing excess skin, transferring fat to other parts of the body, tightening the skin, etc.), the operation time is longer.
Well, pain is a very individual thing. After the operation, the patient feels numb, but I can reassure you that we are treating with effective drugs.
Postoperative pain control is very advanced, so there is no need to be afraid.
– How fast is the result noticeable? Is it immediately after the surgery? Or maybe you have to wait?
One is liposuction fat removal. Maybe someone else doesn’t need fat transplant, liposuction is enough, but I always say that liposuction is contouring and shaping of body shapes, but not a weight loss procedure.
If the patient is severely obese, we can still safely remove only 4-5 liters of body fat.
And if we suck the same amount of weight from a person with a normal body mass index, the result will highlight a beautiful belly, thighs, and waist area.
If the remaining fat is injected into the chest or buttocks, the overall image will look even more beautiful.
– Are there any restrictions after this type of operation?
– We advise you to avoid direct sunlight and alcohol. After each operation, the patient receives a written memo, where all the recommendations of what he cannot do are written down.
The long-lasting effect is inspiring
– How long does the fat graft last in that area?
– The cosmetic effect of fat transplantation is long-lasting, but largely depends on lifestyle, nutrition, and physical activity.
– What are the risks associated with fat grafting surgery?
– One of the most common adverse effects is resorption of the transplanted tissue (disappearance, decrease in volume).
Usually 30-70% gain. volume of transplanted adipose tissue.
How many of them will remain depends on skeletal factors: liposuction and preparation techniques, individual characteristics of the patient’s body.
Fluid accumulation or bruising is less common (1-5 percent of cases).
– Is it possible to correct my lines with this operation in the summer?
– After the quarantine, everything got mixed up: people come even in the summer. My operations are lined up until the end of autumn.
Summer is the right time to relax and beautify yourself. Lithuania is a favorable country for plastic surgery because our climate is suitable for it.
There are no 310 sunny days like in the United Arab Emirates or Turkey, for example.
