Toulouse. 3rd metro line: work will disrupt traffic in these areas of the city

Work continues on the construction of the 3e underground line a Toulouse. The interventions managed by the companies Eiffage and Thomas et Danizan aim to move underground networks. Except for climatic or technical hazards, the estimated duration of its work is announced between 3 to 6 weeks. In both sectors, access to local residents will be maintained for the duration of the works.
In the Ormeau area
Starting from Monday, July 25, 2022work will start in the Ormeau sector in the southeast of Toulouse. Rue de Tahiti and avenues Jean Rieux and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry will be affected by these developments, for a period of Three weeks.
Interventions are also planned overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.. The bus line L8 will be diverted in both directions of traffic between Mal Clabel and Avenue Bréguet. Last February, development operations had already been carried out in the same sector.
In the Marengo sector
Work is also expected from Thursday, July 28, 2022 in the Marengo district around the media library. These developments will affect boulevard de Marengo, rue Leduc and avenue Georges Pompidou during a period of 6 weeks. A road diversion will be in place.
