Trifonov also attacks Ninova: Communist power and mandate will not let go – Bulgaria
The leader of “There is such a people” Slavi Trifonov announced that he had watched the interview of the leader of the BSP Kornelia Ninova and that his conclusion from it was that “a communist does not let go of power and mandate”.
“Mrs. Ninova has just positioned herself categorically towards the team of hypocrites. Hristo Ivanov talks behind her back about how she clung to power and how she still wants to be a minister, but she doesn’t have a problem with Hristo Ivanov, she has a problem with me. Welcome, Cornelia,” Trifonov wrote on his Facebook profile.
In the interview, Ninova announced that the BSP is terminating negotiations with Trifonov’s party to form the parliament with a third mandate. Earlier in the day, the BSP leader also gave an interview to BNR, but in it she did not even hint at what she announced later to BTV. During these few hours, Trifonov attacked Hristo Ivanov again on “Facebook”, accusing him of being a hypocrite and having no sense of shame. This harsh tone seems to be the only reason why Ninova abruptly rejected “There is such a people” as a coalition partner.
According to Trifonov, this evening “the left-wing Mrs. Ninova is talking to him (Ivanov), to the person on the right who is saying unflattering things behind his back and with him she will think about how to form the new government”, which is “supposedly for the salvation of Bulgaria, and not actions, thanks to which Mrs. Ninova can keep her post”.
According to him, this was the difference between Ninova and him – “I don’t want power at any cost”.
“On Friday, I said that we are leaving the negotiations and that we are not afraid of going to the elections because of “There is such a people”. However, Mrs. Ninova does not want new elections, because democracy can take a lot from her – it’s up to the Deputy Prime Minister. Tonight, Mr. Mrs. Ninova also spoke with Kiril Petkov. The same Kiril Petkov, from whom she lost her trust after the expulsion of the Russian diplomats. However, she lost him in 24 hours. Then everything was right again. In the name of power. Because apparently, for these people, power at any cost is more important than dignity,” insisted Trifonov.
According to him, Ninova would not say a bad word about Hristo Ivanov, she would not say a bad word about Kiril Petkov either, but “not because he is a great statesman, but because the only chance for power is to stick to “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria” and somehow hope that a ruling majority of hypocrisy will be formed”.
“In general, just as Mrs. Ninova sells weapons to Ukraine through third countries, in the same way Mrs. Ninova wants to stay in power through third countries – through “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria”. So much for Mrs. Ninova,” concludes Trifonov’s position.
