Nice holds AS Roma in check, LOSC held by Las Palmas and Monaco fall against Porto – Sport.fr
Ligue 1 clubs continue their preparation with friendly matches. Tonight OGC Nice and LOSC conceded a draw while Monaco lost to Porto.
For its last match in Portugal, OGC Nice could not do better than a draw against AS Roma. Lucien Favre’s men had however opened the score in the first period thanks to Brahimi, well served by Stengs. At the break, José Mourinho made a few changes and the Louve equalized on a but against his camp of Mario Lemina. Marcin Bulka, the Nice goalkeeper, saved his team from defeat on several occasions.
LOSC for its part also drew against Las Palmas, 2-2. Jonathan David and Yusuf Yazici scored for the Mastiffs who were put in trouble by the Spanish side.
AS Monaco lost to Porto. Philippe Clément’s men lost 2-1, despite Wissam ben Yedder’s penalty kick. The Monegasques yielded twice in the second half on goals from Taremi and Galeno, a third but was even refused by the VAR. A result that does not bode well before the preliminary round of the Champions League against PSV Eindhoven.
