The summer is going more than well for the aeronautical companies of Toulouse. From Monday July 18 to Friday July 22, 2022, Airbus recorded several orders at farnborough airshow (England). Two of them concern a dozen devices. These contracts were made by Delta Airlines and LATAM.
ATR doing business in Farnborough
Airbus is not the only company to have had a good harvest at Farnborough. In effect, RTA received new orders across the Channel.
“These contracts and new 20-year ventures show the market’s appetite for the most economical and responsible regional aircraft today and tomorrow.”
In detail, ATR took orders from companies CRO (Japan) and Afrijet (Gabon) for ATR 42-600 and ATR 72-600.
But that’s not all: “ATR continues to expand its presence in Japan thanks to Feel the Air, which plans to operate a fleet that can incorporate up to 36 RTA. The manufacturer also benefits from the unfailing support of the leasing community, the new lessor Abelo planning to acquire 20 devicesincluding 10 ATR 42-600S, the short take-off and landing version”.
Ascendance Flight Technologies has already attracted six customers
If it is not as well known as the two giants mentioned above, this young shoot is doing well. Thursday July 21, Ascension flight technologiesthe start-up which is developing a state-of-the-art hybrid aircraft project in Francazal, has announced that it has received letters of intent to pay 245 Atea aircraft.
In total, six customers (EVFLY, Flyshare, HELIFIRST, Jet Systems Helicopteres Services, PhilJets Group and Yugo Private Aviation) have already collided with this nugget from Toulouse.
