The new Silk Road is in operation: the Hupej-Hungary train has started its first journey
The train connecting China with Hungary officially started its journey, with which the operation of the “new Silk Road” began.
The first train started its journey on July 15 from the international port of Xixiazhuang in Hupei province and according to the schedule, it should reach the BILK intermodal terminal in Budapest in 18 days, reports the Rail freight specialist site.
A fire broke out in a hotel in Hévíz, nearly 400 people had to leave the building complex
The train passes through many countries on its way, first leaving China via the border crossing at Erenhot to Mongolia, from where Russia, Belarus, Poland and the Czech Republic are the next stops.
Of course, the train will not arrive “empty-handed”, as 100 wagons of photovoltaic modules, generator stators and other export products were loaded onto it when it left. Because of its symbolic importance, it is much bigger because of the new Silk Road.
Hubei province is an important industrial center of China, an important area of the country’s economy, which has successfully connected it to international transport, which can further boost the local economy.
