Saint-Dizier: The Aristide passes between the drops
EVENT. The town hall square hosted the Aristide this Friday, July 22. Despite the uncertain weather, the first evening of this two-part event went well. The Bragards were able to enjoy the music while dining on the giant terrace installed for the occasion.
They were a little scared, the organizers of Aristide, this Friday, July 22. In the middle of the afternoon, the weather did not announce anything good for the beginning of the evening: storm, hail, and wind at 80 km/h. So much so that those responsible for the recreational facilities at the foot of the ramparts had to make arrangements to pack up their barnums and parasols earlier than planned.
In the end, despite the threatening sky and a few drops of rain, the evening was able to start as planned around 6 p.m., with the concerts kicking off an hour later. Gradually, the public took over Place Aristide-Briand, which is hosting the event for the second year, with this time 450 places available to snack or have a drink, seated or around the many standing tables, installed throughout the site. for the occasion, between the luminous works of the Tilt collective.
“Come on Saint-Dizier, we’re going to chase the clouds! »
It was the group Joli Falzar who had the difficult task of starting the evening on stage. “Come on Saint-Dizier, we’re going to chase the clouds! “, shouted the singer of the group at the beginning of his concert. With crazy energy, the group launched the festivities in front of very few people. But over the course of the evening, the place finally filled up with two other groups on the program: emea and Chicos and Mendez.
Between showers, we dance in front of the stage, we have a good time with friends or family, at the table. Brigitte and her daughter Elisa are special places in Bar-le-Duc to spend an evening “between girls”, and do not regret being places. “The rain is not very serious. There is atmosphere and it’s pretty! “says the mother. “For the organizers, it must be annoying! “, launches a lady, place to take refuge under the stores of a trade of the place, the time that the rain stops.
This Saturday, July 23, the party continues with the second evening of Aristide, and if the discounts are correct, much milder weather. The doors to the giant terrace also open at 6 p.m. with, always, music starting at 7 p.m. This time, the public will be able to attend concerts by students from the conservatory (rock), Ben Toury (boogie, blues, world music) and the Fanflures Brass Band (funk, hip hop).
