Important agreement for both the company and the workers
FLORENCE – Important result from Gucci: the renewal of the company contract applied to the more than 900 employees of the fashion house, sales and logistical support staff, workers and employees in the 29 points of sale in Italy has been signed. On the economic level, the agreement envisages a reward mechanism, with a redistribution of income of approximately 400 euros per month for each worker, to which is added a package of the amount of well-being of 1,600 euros divided over three years. The agreement introduces additional permissions for parenting. The institution of solidarity holidays has also been implemented in cases of serious illness or injury and for the assistance of family members suffering from pathologies.
The trade unions Filcams Cgil, Fisascat Cisl and Uiltucs and the corporate management of the Italian fashion house, explains a note, having concluded the consultation phase of the hypothesis of an agreement between the workers, they definitively signed the new supplement in force until as of December 31, 2024. The agreement brings improvements to various institutions of the previous contract, from the consolidation of the system of trade union relations, up to the economic treatment of illness and accident, with the recognition of a 100% integration from the twenty-first day.
The parties confirm the validity of the supplementary health plan, continuing to provide for an annual contribution by the worker of 60 euros, through 12 monthly deductions of five euros each. Great attention was paid to the fight against gender-based violence, the enhancement of diversity and inclusion. The parties have undertaken to continue the path dedicated to training initiatives and continuous updating of workers through the establishment of a special joint commission.
