Charlene of Monaco meets the Pope in Louis Vuitton heels
It was in a total black look that Charlène of Monaco met the pope at the Vatican, this Wednesday, July 20, 2022. For the occasion, she wore pumps signed by a luxurious label.
Sobriety and elegance. This is what the outfit worn by Charlene of Monaco, on July 20, 2022, during a meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican. A rather discreet meeting which had not been announced by the Rock, but which caused a stir.
Accompanied by her husband, Prince Albert II, the Princess of Monaco appeared in the San Damaso court, in an ascetic total black look. She wore a midi dress with a boat neck and long sleeves, designed by one of her favorite designers, Terrence Bray. At her feet, she wore a pair of powder pink pointed pumps signed Louis Vuitton. Her hair styled in a black lace mantilla, and her cross-shaped necklace around her neck were the finishing touches to this restrained look.
Charlene of Monaco dressed in white
This is not the first time that Charlene of Monaco has had the opportunity to meet the pope during a private audience. In 2016, the Monegasque fashionista went to the Vatican, in a radically different look, immaculate white. If the dress code is formal (long black dresses required), there are seven women in the world who have the right to dress in white. The Princess of Monaco had therefore used her privilege by wearing a long ivory coat, matching gloves and beige pumps. On her head, a white veil came to mingle with her blond hair. Bright.
