Toulouse: why the Téléo cable car will not work for 15 days
The Téléo urban cable car will not operate for two weeks. The time of this interruption of the link buses is set up.
Notice to users. From August 1 to 14, the Téléo urban cable car, which calls on Paul Sabatier University at the Oncopole in Toulouse, will not be in operation. It stops for annual regulatory maintenance. The two-week break allows for longer operations that cannot be completed in a few hours during night closings. In detail, these consistent operations check equipment and systems and update software. “All these maintenance operations aim to guarantee the comfort and safety of travelers”, indicate the services of Tisséo via a press release.
And Téléo users will have to get used to it because this maintenance will be renewed every summer for 15 days. The summer period was chosen to minimize disturbances, the crowds being less important during this period.
During these two weeks of stoppage, a bus connection will be offered between the Université Paul Sabatier and Hôpital Rangueil – Louis Lareng stations from Monday to Friday every 20 minutes at off-peak hours (5:30 a.m. / 7:30 a.m., 9:20 a.m. / 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. / 11:40 p.m. ) and every 10 minutes during peak hours (7:30 a.m./9:20 a.m. and 3:30 p.m./6 p.m.). It will also run on Saturdays and Sundays every 20 minutes between 5:30 a.m. and 11:40 p.m. The Linéo 5 will connect the Oncopole – Lise Enjalbert station and the Empalot metro station (line B), a metro line that connects to the Université Paul Sabatier metro station. From Université Paul Sabatier station, take metro line B towards Borderouge. Then, you have to make the connection with the Linéo 5 in the direction of Portet-sur-Garonne at Empalot to reach the Oncopole station.
As of August 15, Téléo will be back in service. Normally, the Toulouse cable car operates every day from 5:15 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. with a passage every 30 minutes during peak hours.
