Like every year, the Bonlieu cultural center organizes an evening of festivities to celebrate summer with the inhabitants of Annecy. After “The great walk” in 2020 at Semnoz (5 kilometers of trail and 100 artists), and the 10 PIKNIK evenings at La Friche des rails last year, many artists are preparing to do La Grande Traversée for this 2022 edition. .
After a convivial picnic organized from 7 p.m. at Pâquier, the Haut-Savoyard Nathan Paulin takes the reins of the evening. The 28-year-old highliner, who has just broken a new world record by crossing the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, will walk above the lake for the first time.
From 8:30 p.m., it will leave the Imperial Palace and will join the Pâquier by walking on an 850 meter long strap stretched 50 meters high.
Then other artists will take over after his scheduled arrival around 9:30 p.m. The gardens of Europe will welcome musicians, circus artists and tightrope walkers from sunset, who will continue their performances in levitation.
