If it’s not the Wild West, it looks like it. In April 2021, around 1 p.m., a 60 year old man who was traveling on a electric scooter sees a stranger falling on him, in the area of the Barrière casino, at Toulouse.
He draws a gun
Gun in handthe latter points his machine at him with a value of 400 euro. No doubt he then thought he had done the hardest part. But he probably should have accelerated a little harder.
Because the victim did not let it go. The sexagenarian continued his attacker, managing to tear off his cap! And thanks to theanalyze DNAgenerated by theRight Bank property user unit (UAB), a profile ended up not being matched, fifteen months later, in the database of the police.
Flushed… in prison
Long sought after, the alleged thief was finally found… at the Seysses remand center (Upper Garonne).
Placed in police custody, Tuesday July 12, 2022, the 43 year old inmate admitted that it was indeed his cap. But not scooter theft. Procedure still ongoing.
