PSG will kick off their season. Ten days after returning to training, the reigning French champion will play his first preparation match this Friday against US Quevilly-Rouen Métropole. The meeting will take place behind closed doors at Camp des Loges (Saint-Germain-en-Laye).
This match will also be the first under the orders of Christophe Galtier, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the head of the capital club. It will notably allow to know a little more about the system that he could use during the season and to know the players on whom he does not count.
In the wake of this first meeting, Paris will fly off for a tour of Japan, where Marquinhos’ teammates will continue their preparation with three matches on the program against Kawasaki Frontale (Wednesday July 20 at 12:30 p.m.), Urawa Red Diamonds (Saturday July 23 at 12 p.m.) and Gamba Osaka (Monday July 25 at 12 p.m.).
The serious things will begin on July 31 with the Trophée des Champions against Nantes in Tel Aviv (Israel), before a trip to Clermont for the first day of Ligue 1 (even August 6 at 9 p.m.).
