This Monday, July 11, Chérie 25 confirmed to bet on Murders at Nordholm to occupy its viewers in the first part of the evening. From 9:10 p.m., she will invite them to discover the second and last part of this episode, broadcast across the Rhine in 2015. The story will focus on the death of a 14-year-old girl, whose body was discovered on a beach in Nordholm, a purely fictional town.
Commissioner Hella Christensen (Barbara Auer) will investigate Jennifer’s death with Simon Kessler (Heino Ferch). The duo will not be at the end of its troubles. And for good reason, Martin (Chris Veres), the son of Hella, will find himself suspected of being linked to the drama. Cornered, the commissioner will be pushed to the start. She will have no choice but to withdraw from the investigation…
What next for Murders at Nordholm?
This episode was broadcast by public broadcaster ZDF in Germany in 2015. The second part of Murders at Nordholmbaptized Nordholm across the Rhine, was acclaimed by 8.02 million viewers, or 24.7% of the entire public. The series has enhanced its success with a net gain of 3.6 points compared to its first part, which had aroused the curiosity of 7.18 million people (21.1%).
In this dynamic, ZDF followed up on Nordholm by ordering a new episode. This one, divided into two parts and broadcast in 2019 across the Rhine, will be available on Chérie 25 from Monday July 18 at 9:10 p.m. It will be based on a true story. Another part has already been shot while a fourth is in production.
