The national police have experienced more hectic weekends but some significant interventions are to be noted.
Friday, July 8, shortly before 10 p.m., the police quickly converged on rue Jean-Jaurès, alerted by agents from the City’s video surveillance center of a driver traveling in a vehicle with a flat tire and committing a series of offences, including a burnt out red light. Spotted, the driver of the vehicle has tried to distort the company to the patrol but he does not escape control. Subjected to screening, the 27-year-old man revealed a rate of 0.89 milligrams per liter of exhaled air, or 1.78 grams of alcohol per liter of blood, and was placed in a drunk tank. Released at the end of his police custody, the young man from Doussard is summoned to court on November 10.
On Saturday July 9, around 6:30 p.m., the attention of the police was distributed by a minor circulating rue President Favre on a model of bicycle similar to those made available by the services of the City but summarily repainted in another color. Controlled, the teenager unable to explain the origin of his cycle was brought back to the police station where his parents came to pick him up. Prosecuted for concealment of theft, the 14-year-old teenager residing in Seynod will be called back.
A little later in the evening of Saturday July 9, around 8 p.m., it was at Le Pâquier that the police were hired for a meeting theft. A man has just had his bicycle stolen by two individuals. Spotted on the outer esplanade of the Bonlieu center, the duo was arrested drunk and placed in police custody. The two men aged 21 and 24 revealed a rate of 0.45 milligrams per liter of exhaled air, or each 0.9 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. The two homes provided a classification without follow-up by the magistrate, for insufficiently characterized offense.
