A day in Brussels with the Royal Palace? Which can!
Almost every beginning for a few weeks the doors of the working palace are open to the public.
In Belgium, they first have to kick off the National Day on 21 July, but two days later the Royal Palace in Brussels will again be open to the public for more than a month (until 28 August). It is open every day, except Monday, from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Along the route, visitors can view three different exhibits in the palace.

For example, there is the King Baudouin exhibition, which outlines the reign of the Belgian King Baudouin on the basis of images, archival documents and objects, most of which are on display for the first time.
There is also an exhibition by Belspo in which climate change, maritime research and polar missions are discussed. Technopolis has ten slots in the Science & Stones exhibition, in which building on the basis of Lego is elevated to a real art.
Eye-catchers of the palace are the enormous Throne Room measuring 41 x 27 meters…
… the Hall of Mirrors, starring 1.5 million dung beetle shields from Thailand…
…and the Great Gallery between the Throne Room and the Courtyard of Brabant. The tickets are free, but you have to book in advance to reserve via the website of the Royal Palace. And of course you can easily add a day to Brussels!
