Toulouse: lines A and B of the metro have resumed in their entirety
While a general breakdown affected the Toulouse metro for two days, traffic is back to normal this Friday, July 8.
The Toulouse metro is back on track. While a large-scale power outage affected the Pink City underground on July 6 and 7, Tisséo announced this Friday, July 8, the total resumption of lines A and B of the metro.

Tisséo has suffered in recent days “one of the biggest breakdowns in the history of the Toulouse metro”.
“An electric arc that occurred on the track as a train passed just before the Patte-d’Oie station on line A was the cause of the incident and caused the release of smoke and complete safety. This incident damaged security connection cables depending on the command post to the piloting of lines A and B, a guide bar and an insulator” explained the press release from the transport network on Wednesday July 6.
Consequence of these two days of stoppages: a shortfall of nearly €82,000 per day of stoppage of the two lines. In total, nearly 250,000 travelers were unable to take the metro on Wednesday, and as many on Thursday.
