With the Ford Sierra Cosworth 4 × 4 prepared by Terrosi, and with Sauro Farnocchia at his side, he will try to dare to continue in third place overall at the Adriatic Rally last May.
Livorno, 07 July 2022 – Back in the race, Fabrizio Bacci, this weekend, at the 50th Rally Adriatico, fourth round of the Historic Italian Rally Terrain Championship, one of the most iconic races in the international arena.
The driver from Livorno who was the bearer of the Pro Racing team, flanked by the expert co-pilot Sauro Farnocchia will be at the start on the Ford Sierra Cosworth 4 × 4 prepared by Terrosi
He will go in search of continuity after the positive third place overall arrived at the Rally Adriatico; after a particularly unfortunate start to the season.
A podium that has largely reassured Bacci and Farnocchia, also a redemption from the two previous disappointments and a performance that opens up a scenario, that of the new San Marino dirt roads, particularly hard with also the component of the heat that will surely be an important one to aspire to a top result.
Bacci, second in the provisional absolute classification to four-wheel drive and in the reserved fourth, will again find themselves dueling with the “names” that have characterized the events of the Championship so far, first of all the noble Vicenza “Lucky”, constantly a comparison important, with its Delta Integrale lance.
“We were reassured and motivated not a little, with the result at the Rally Adriatico – comments Fabrizio Bacci – now let’s look at this new commitment that promises to be very “hot” both from the competitive and the meteorological point of view. In fact, you will have to pay attention to the roughness of the path and in the meantime also measure the energy since it is announced very hot. We will try to do our part as best we can ”.
The presentation ceremony of the race is scheduled for the evening of Friday 8 July, the challenge will develop over six timed sections, starting from “Terra di San Marino” (5.00 km).
After the aperitif we will concentrate, on Saturday 9 July, on two passages in “Macerata Feltria” (7.47 km) and on “Belforte all’Isauro” (12.01 km), leaving the latter a decisive third round to close the competition.
