What will the Bal de la Rose be about this year?
The Princess of Hanover and designer Christian Louboutin have chosen a very specific theme…
It is one of the most important events on the Monegasque calendar. The traditional Bal de la Rose, exceptionally postponed from March to July 8, 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is fast approaching!
And for this exceptional evening, given under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II in the Salle des Etoiles at Sporting, Princess Caroline and her friend Christian Louboutin, to whom the artistic direction has been appointed, have chosen as their theme: “The 20s, the comeback”.

Everything has therefore been thought out to bring this special time back to life for the guests. Starting with the decor, where the chic and glamor of Hollywood and Paris of the last century intertwine. From the entrance to the stage, the guests are propelled straight into the Roaring Twenties.
On the music side, the artists were not chosen at random. The collective House of Drama has created for the occasion a colorful and atypical show, which will highlight the currents of the Bahaus, to disco, through Art Deco.
Pianist composer and cabaret artist Charly Voodoo, burlesque star Dita Von Teese, choreographer and dancer Amélie Poulain, high-heeled roller-skating artist Marawa, disco diva Corine and DJ Amina will also be in attendance.
As tradition dictates, this 66th edition of the Bal de la Rose, organized with the participation of Stéphane Bern, will be donated to the benefit of the Princess Grace Foundation, which helps hospitalized children and their families.
